    CDI , our imaging and archival division, was engaged to digitise a remarkable collection of rare negatives. The photographs were taken by the artist Liu Kang during a sketching trip to Java and Bali in 1952 together with three other pioneering artists – Chen Chong Swee, Cheong Soo Pieng and Chen Wen Hsi.
